yes it is a great movie....unless you've read the book...silly changes that make no sense.
But it has been my favouriye film for about 12 years and it still scares the pants off me

YES IT WAS A GOOD MOVIE AND YES THEY DID OMIT SOME IMPORTANT PARTS AND CHANGED THE END BUT JUST THINK OF THE MONEY IT WOULD HAVE TAKEN TO DO THE BOOK JUSTICE

It: I'm every nightmare you've ever had. I'm your worst dream come true. I'm everything you ever were afraid of.

When I first saw the movie I was eleven and I was already scared of clowns from when I saw Poltergeist and seeing Tim Curry as Pennywise did not help cure that fear.
But I realised, a few years on as I read the book, that the movie wouldīve been best saved for our present day when we finally couldīve done it justice.
If I were a director I would definately do a re-make with serious special effects ( just imagine how the confrontation at Neibolt Street 29 would look on the screen; or the arrival of It thousands of years ago.) and for the fans I would make all of the short stories about The Black Spot, The Bradley gang etc. in some kind of really nice manga and put it on the DVD extra material (as it simply wouldnīt fit in the movie.)
New actors would have to be cast as the ones that played in it last are too old today, but I would re-cast Tim Curry as Pennywise! And I would make it in the correct timeline this time around!
So who thinks all of this is a good idea?
