I made the short trip to Weeley this evening to have a look at the reserve team match. On my arrival I was surprised to see a lot of unfamiliar faces in the squad. I made some enquires and was informed that if a player had played more than 5 times for the first team then they were not eligable for this particular cup. In all we only had 5 regular reserve team players on show, and people still think the reserves don't play there part in first team football!! |

A 1-0 loss with a team that included no less than 7 players from Clactons A team, an excellent performance from all, that bodes well for next season considering the 6 division gap between A team and Border premier. |
