Larry: Thanks for setting up the Forum. One topic suggestion might be a review of motion graphics software. This could include but is not limited to After Effects, the Boris FX family, Commotion, etc. Some NLE's have limited motions graphics capability but to rely on your NLE, seriosly limits your creative options. - John |

I use some motion stuff inside Premiere like but as for other stuff I just haven't took the time to learn it. I just got the latest version of Digital Fusion and the video so hopefully I can take the time to learn this...... Be interest as to what others like and use.. http://www.wrightsvideo.com WVP |

John, For the most part, wspecially when it comes to text, DPS velocity has a lot of effects such as sparkle, perspective, motion etc. that I can use in real time. It does a nice job. I tried Boris Graf., and I hated it. Everything had to be rendered. I also use Boris FX on it works great but I know very little about it. I'm getting ready to order the upgrade for digital fusion. It comes with an instructional tape. I hope it's better than the one that shipped with Boris Graf. Larry & Jon Senn know after effects pretty well. I currently don't use Adobe programs. I agree, we should have a meeting on this. Take care, Cliff |
