I'm really looking forward to "The Notebook" aswell. I've read the novel and looking forward to seeing Ryan in the movie. Has anyone else read "The Notebook"? |

"The Notebook" is by Nicholas Sparks (he also wrote books like A Walk To Remember and Message In A Bottle, both of which were made into films.) and it's about a man named Noah whose wife Allie has Alzheimer's and is in a nursing home. Everyday, he reads her a story from this notebook. It is a story about a young man and woman who fell in love when they were teens. The woman moved, and got engaged to another man years later. Then, she goes back and visits her childhood sweetheart, and they fall in love again. And she soons decides to be with him instead of her fiance. Eventually, Allie realizes that she is the woman in the story and Noah is the man. The book was pretty good, but I'm really excited about the movie. Ryan will play the younger Noah and I think the movie is coming out early 2004. :) |

I'm also excited about The Notebook movie coming to theaters. I only saw the photo of Ryan and Rachel dancing. It's interesting how their whole faces aare not shown,only her in a profile and his eyes and nose,but not his mouth.I can't find the book. I hopw he plays his or a guitar in that movie.I'm ecstatic about tha happening in it. |

I hope he will sing and play guitar as well, although I don't know for sure. That was a small part of Noah's character in the novel. You said you can't find the novel? It should still be in most bookstores. If you can't find it in a store, you could always check your local library. It's a pretty good book. It does have an elaborate love scene, which I could have done without, but it's still good. Nicholas Sparks is one of my fave authors. |

He's been playing the guitar since he was a young boy and he sang the song "Put Me In the Car" many times. He could definitely play a guitar and sing in a movie. I want to hear him sing and play at the same time.:D If the sex scene is much worse or longer than the Murder By Numbers and The Believer scenes,I don't know if I'll watch it without fast forwarding it. |

Yeah, I might have to cover my eyes during those scenes. I really want to hear more of Ryan's musical talent. He has written a lot of other songs besides PMITC, but they are no where to be found on the internet. There's this site I found where this girl got to see him perform his songs live TWICE! Lucky! |

Which site was the story of the girl who got to see him play live twice? I might have read about that. I'll check different Ryan sites and try to find that information. It's too bad I can't hear any of his songs. I'll ask Ryan if he could put out a single or send me one of his songs,even though I doubt he will.LOL.I can still hope he will send me a tape of one or 2 songs. |

Well, they're not full lyrics to songs, just bits and snippets. I liked reading the reviews because it describes things that happened and how talented he is. :) |

Yeah, under "Ryan In Real Life" there are several stories of fan encounters and they all say that he was nice. |

I feel so sad because I can't meet anyone famous,let alone Ryan. I surfed that website and read those stories and smiled after I read them. The only way I can ever meet Ryan, is if him and I were both in San Fransisco at the same time. I doubt strongly if I will ever be in Los Angeles soon.:( |

Will "Stay" come out first or is The United Sytates Of Leland be shown in theaters first? So far, I think The "U S o L" will be better than The Notebook or "Stay." that is just my opinion of which movie I will like more.I can't wait til those Ryan Gosling movie come out. I'll watch tv and watch for those previews.:D |

Currently, Ryan is filming "Stay" and they should continue into January. So I'm guessing that won't come out until late 2004. USL is supposed to have a limited release in March, and "The Notebook" is supposed to come out maybe in May or sometime after that. So although I'm not sure on the dates, I know that USL will come out first, then The Notebook, and then Stay. |

Thanks for replying. I just got confused about The Notebook and Leland.Do you think you will like Stay when it's in theaters? Stay seems like it will be too strange and gross for me.I probably won't like it very much. |

I agree with you about how weird and depressing it probably is. When we see the Stay trailer and watch the performances in it,we might change are minds and want to see it. we would definitely have to see the "Stay" trailer and hear the music first. |

I read on imdb.com that "The Notebook" is scheduled to be released on April 30, 2004. It may be subject to change, tho. Man, I don't think I can wait that long! |

I saw "The Notebook" when it sneek previewed last weekend and i have to say it was the most amazing and beautiful love story i have ever seen! I hadent really heard of it and i didnt even know Ryan was in it but my best friend MADE me go with her and im SO glad she did! Its really a great movie and if you werent already crazy about Ryan you will be cause he just screams sex in this movie! I never really knew much about Ryan except for the fact that I had a HUGE crush on him when i was little from the MMC, but i didnt hear anything about him after that. Now I can safely say after seeing that movie mmm mmm good! he is quite a hottie and i cant wait for the movie to come out so i can see it again...and again...and again! I hope you all enjoy it! I saw it when it previewed last week too. OH MY GOD it was AMAZING. im going to see it again when it actually comes out on the 25th and holy crap Ryan is SO hot in it. i mean SO hot. and Rachel McAdams does a phenomenal job as the lead acctress. They both do an amazing job. It is a lot different then the book but awesome just the same |

Hi, I've just recently found this site and enjoy it. But I was posting to say that I have read in a couple of articles that Ryan built the kitchen table that is in The Notebook to help himself get into character. This boy is quite talented. I mean, he can sing, dance, write songs, act, and build things? Man, I'm falling.....(sigh)! Just thought you qould like to know that interesting detail. |

In "Breaker High", I thought Ryan was, well, sorta ugly. But in "The Notebook" he looked so hot... I fell for him too! |

holy cow, I love the notebook! I am going to search high and low for a guy i can marry like noah! lol! ok how do you know where celebs are gonna be like at events and stuff so you can meet them? cuz i wanna meet ryan gosling cuz' I heard he is a really nice guy! |

Hey people, long time no see. Anyway, I saw "The Notebook" the first weekend it opened and I was disappointed. It wasn't as good as I thought it would be or it could have been. Ryan looked good in it, but his performance was weak. I thought Rachel McAdams did a good job, though. I was surprised b/c I knew she was in "The Hot Chick" and "Mean Girls" and didn't think that she would be very good, but she was. Well, I wasn't a big fan of the movie, but I'll probably end up owning it on DVD when it's released. So I can watch Ryan over and over again, LOL. Maybe if I see it again, I'll like it better. Then again, maybe I won't. |

Yeah, he LOOKED good, but his performance was weak, IMO. :( Not a very good romantic lead. But at least he tried something different. Gotta give him props for that, at least. |

Oh what a disappointment. His costar Rachel stole the movie. I first watched this movie to see my lovely Ryan, but I ended up falling for..... Rachel!! I don't know about the rest of you but I think she is HOT and did a great job acting. Now don't get me wrong I don't feel about her the same way I do him, but for the first time I do have some feelings towards another woman. Am I the only one feeling this way? Tell me it isn't so. |
