I am looking for 3 border collie bitches, any age pref younger than 3. Must not be spayed as would like to breed a litter or 2 from each of them. We are looking for 3 so myself, my husband and my daughter can all have a dog each rather than having to share.Not interested in showing, but may want to do some flyball with them if they show an interest. |

I have to agree. With so many border collie rescue organizations across the nation (if not the world), it seems to me you would have no problem locating 3 females who are desperate for loving homes. Can you not consider this option? If you're truly a BC lover.. then support breeders who have proven to be TOP NOTCH, and who do not sell "questionable" lineage to make a fast buck, BY NOT BECOMING A BREEDER YOURSELF - but by working to shut down fly by night breeders. We bought our BC puppy out of pity, knowing it would never get a proper home here on island... they breed here for profit, sell at GHASTLY prices (we paid $800 - but this is actually good because it weeds out those who can't afford to give adequate care to a pet)... and have the world's 2nd worst pet abandonment record. DO THE RIGHT THING. ADOPT. |

Well, we now have a beautiful 10 week old black and white girlie, the breeder advised against getting 2/3 pups as it would be a lot of hard work. So when the pup is older we will look at getting a couple more and will look at rescue collies.Thanks for your help. |
