Has anyone noticed how "perfect" all of the songs on the new, Capital Albums Volume One on CD sound? The vocals and music tracks are perfect. Any tampering (e.g., sound pitching, etc.) by EMI when preparing these for release? The Beatles were great musicians and singers but the songs on the first four US albums all sound absolutely perfect. I remember some flat notes (more so vocals) on the early songs.

Do a poll of Beatles fans and ask them what they'd want released; the original Capitol Albums would be damn near the bottom of the list.
Unfortunately Apple only release one new Beatles product every year or so; so the blasted Capitol releases will hold up up any decent releases (The LET IT BE DVD or the WHITE ALBUM DEMOS CD) for several years.
Blasted Americans and their stupid US albums.
