Another occasion where the two remaining Beatles met was the Concert for George organized by Dhani and Eric Clapton. Probably you could put more details to this event.

What does this meeting have to do with the recording, mixing or release of a Beatles Album?

Why is it that whenever one or two or all four of the ex-Beatles got together for something, it suddenly turned into a Beatles reunion in people's minds? Unless specified by the band, or by their reps at Apple, it's not a Beatles reunion. The two new songs in this case, were a reunion, as all four of them played on them, and they were billed as Beatles songs. But tracks such as "Gimme Some Truth", "How Do You Sleep?" "I Am The Greatest" or "All Those Years Ago" are not Beatles songs. "The Concert For George" was not a Beatles reunion (or a Traveling Wilburys reunion for that matter). It was just a musical gathering of all of George Harrison's surviving friends from different periods in his career. When both McCartney and Starr were approached, I'm sure they made it clear that, "this is not a 'Beatles' reunion". If John Lennon were still alive and decided to participate, he would have said the same thing.

I think this site sets out quite clearly what it covers, and it only covers NEW BEATLES RECORDINGS, new MIXING sessions of previously unreleased BEATLES tapes or new RELEASES UNDER THE NAME OF THE BEATLES. You could make an argument that the jam session at Friar Park shouldn't be included but it is George, Paul and Ringo in a recording studio laying down music for a Beatles release (ultimately the Beatles Anthology DVD set). CONCERT FOR GEORGE and other projects which involved multiple Beatles, but weren't issued as "Beatles" projects deserve no place here. If you want such stuff to be available online, set up your own website and I'm sure the site administrators here would be happy to add a link.
