My understanding from multiple sources is that the song has been finished since at least May 07 if not sooner. I understand all four Beatles are on the recording. How George was included, did anyone co-produce, Did Paul add any musical or lyric parts, did Ringo participate again since 95 all that I don't know. But among others I spoke with one of the four Apple board members which one I won't say. That person about a month ago said--"It;s not scheduled right now but yes you could see it come out.-----That is straight from one of the four Board members--around a month or six weeks ago!--I have other sources----NOW AND THEN AND! its forthcoming release seem to be real---as for crazy talk like Paul and Ringo should go on the road and do Beatle songs--well that is crazy NOW AND THEN isin't----as for ALL FOR LOVE or other songs recorded during the THREETLES reunion I have no knowledge zip nada---I read in a Beatle fanzine--shortly before the release of Anthoology three that ALL FOR LOVE was indeed a Mccartney/Harrison composition that was slated as the new song for Anthology three------personally my gut tells me they recorded that and probably some other things--but I have no proof at all other than that one article---but NOW AND THEN IS REAL REJOICE!---I also heard a few unknown recordings from the sixties left off anthology may be issued as part of this new remaster/download program--also Giles Martin was without doubt mixing Beatle material over at Abbey Road in early 08----Yoko in a recent interview said there might be something "modern" included--perhaps old Giles has mixed up a track along the lines of LOVE---I don't know----but the most important thing NOW AND THEN is a go later this year I do believe---- SO chip in what do you know no cranks please

I know from the Anthology period 500 songs were selected that could be used. More than 60 % wasn't used and is still available. We'll see what the future brings. The fake recordings on Youtube sound great. Recently 3 weeks ago on a Dutch Beatles convention Ken Scott the Beatles engineer and late a great producer heard unused stuff from Abbey Road Studios and from 1970 he let us hear each instrument from the What Is Life sessions with permission from Olivia Harrison. It was unbelievable the difference of sound we've known for all these years and the real sound from the studio. Rumours are the Beatles are available with download starting in june and a months later on CD. I have a problem with this why use a very inferior product as first source. MP3 quality is very inferior to CD's. It's a pity SACD wasn't a succes, it is fantastisch. Than 5.1 quality is the next best thing.

How would they release it, though? ("Now And Then", I mean). Would it be a digital download? A CD single? A re-release of ANTHOLOGY 3?
