fishing carters takes patients. i live 15 miles away and fish there 30-40 days yearly. keep in contact with the bottom. fish worms slow so they stay with structure, not above. norman deep lil n parallel to bank. thats best advice for 1st timers, then expand out w/spinnerbaits,dropshot,swimbaits,pop r,dd22s,jig&pig,when water up fish shallow,be patient the lake is full of huge spots.summer night fishing is great.my personal best is 4.75 lb.caught on a storm rainbow swimbait 25 foot deep. good luck
