The Lake is full pool!, clear and Surface temps are 65 to 67 degrees.

SPOTTED BASS: Good, Most of the fish have spawned and are begining to move toward the Summer pattern. Look for fish on secondary points in the creeks and the Coosawatee river. We have been catching a few good fish on topwaters such as the Sammy and Zara spooks. However the more consistant bite has been on the old green pumpkin zoom finesse worm on the Texas rig fished from 3 to 20ft deep. Also we have done well on the zoom fluke in the pearl color early and late in the day fished in these same places.

STRIPERS: Fair, Its that time of year when stripers seem to be everywhere but nowhere in abundance. A few fish are still up the river and all the way back in creeks. Try shad or large shinners on free lines and planner boards in these areas early; then move back out to points near the mouths of the tributaries and down line the baits 15 to 20 feet down over the points. Keep a 5 inch chrome cordelle redfin or white bucktail jig tied on just incase you see surfacing fish.
