Back out on Carters yesterday to do some scouting got to the lake at 12:00 pm. I found schools of smaller stripes stacked on long tapering points around the mouths of creeks and the coosawatee river. The umbrella rig (2oz 4 arm with 5 1oz white bucktails) was the ticket, the fish were holding tight to the bottom at 22ft and would smack the rig on most every pass. boated 10 stripes from 3 to 8lbs, no really big fish but still a good day for Carters. MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone Jeff http://www.carterslakefishing.com Ga Mountain Guide Service |
