fished Lanier with a new customer and his 12 year old son, windy and coooold! I hooked up with them at little Hall at 12:00 and decided to stay on chestatee to avoid freezing them with a long ride. found tons of bait and stripers half way up Thompson creek but they had lockjaw, tried all my tricks but only managed 1 stripe at 10lbs and a 3lb spot both on down lines at 30ft. tough day but it was well worth the batlle with the weather to see the youngster catch his firt ever fish a 10 pounder. http://www.carterslakefishing.com Ga Mountain Guide Service |
