Okay Ladies and Genesis fans I think I have solved the mystery of the musical box. I know that supposedly their guitars are tuned to a weird variation of F#, but give this a try. I don’t know how to post a tab on the internet, so I’ll have to use short hand. When I finish the whole song, I’ll post a notice, and I’ll send a copy to anyone who sends me a SASE. Before you condemn my use of a capo on the 2nd fret, try my fingering. I’ll use a number in parentheses to represent the string number followed by a number that represents the fret. (1)2 = first string, second fret. Numbers are relative to the capo. Here are the chord voicings for the intro (use only the top 4 strings): D#m7: 4654; Bm: 7555; Gm7: 3141 Capo II Intro: D#m7 D#m7-Bm-D#m7-Gm7 Gm7-D#m7-Bm-D#m7 D#m7-Bm-D#m7-Gm7 Play each of these pattern four times. (4)7-(3)4-(3)5-(1)0 (4)6-(3)4-(3)5-(1)0 (4)7-(3)4-(3)5-(1)0 (4)6-(3)4-(3)5-(1)0 (4)2-(3)0-(3)0-(1)0 followed by these pattern played twice: (4)7-(3)0-(3)8-(1)0 (4)7-(3)0-(3)7-(1)0 Let me know what you think.
