| Too much fun Amigo |

First off, a big THANK YOU to all the volunteers. All of you were very pleasant and helpful from the start to the post-race meal. If any other teams didn’t know, STL Amigos is new to adventure racing. We would stick to climbing, but the other stuff sounded like too much fun! We know next year to bring our tents so we can get a little more sleep and spend some time meeting the other teams. With Jason’s compassionate words spoken about Joan we realized the adventure racing community was a lot more than just an entry fee and T-shirt. Thanks for letting us be a part of it. Well worth the drive from St. Louis. We will definitely compare all future adventure races to RAID the Ridge. Our theme for the race was I.O.O.H. (In Over Our Head). Which is probably what our team name should be next year. |
