I was just wondering if the Standings were going to be updated any time soon. Its been almost a month now and lots of games have been played. I would just like to see if our team is in the middle of the pack or near the bottom. Its great to see where the team you are playing sits as well. Thanks! |

I agree, I check fairly regularly to see where everyone is placed. It's fun to see teams change places throughout the season. |

Hopefully we will get that straightened out soon. If you happen to get the Saturday Whig, check the Sports section Local Scene - Our standings are in there every week I believe! |

Thank you for posting the standings Matt. I don't get a paper delivered out here due to the VERY bad driving of the person who delivers. (They scratched up our truck and drove away) So we no longer subscribe. So thank you again for taking the time to post the standings. It is greatly appreciated! |

wow, I didn't know Matt could predict the future!!! As of tonight HFMC is 19-2-1 haha. Wow, that is scary! haha jk. Good luck to everyone the rest of the way, and thanks Matt for posting the updated standings! |

No we lost by one run. Not too bad considering we were short a guy and only had 9 players. And only one of our regular pitchers was there. The other 4 were working, injured or at a child's drama camp recital. Our coach was also playing injured. So to only lose by one was amazing. It was a really good game though and I think everyone was having a good time even though it was raining at times. |

Just wondering how the tournament pools will be this year since there are so many teams. Is it like so? 1,8,9,bye 2,7,10, bye 3,6,11,14 4,5,12,13 Little early to be thinking about this maybe, but I was just wondering. Thanks for the standings update. |

That's true Phil, but if we have 4 groups of teams they won't necessarily all be playing at the same time. I don't know for sure how many teams we will have in the tournament at this point - Sounds like KG1 has a wedding for example... If two teams turned out unable to make it, then we'd have 3 groups with no byes. We'll see a little closer to tournament time I guess! |

how do we know were every one is going to finsh?? its not like all games have been played?? and reported?? its only till aug 13th how about 14th and tonight?? |

In reply to 'somone'... the League Convenor set up the schedule... the league executive suggested trying to find a way to put together a balanced schedule without any byes (with 14 teams and only 8 going on to the playoffs, the chances of a team only getting to play two games and being eliminated would be quite high) - funny thing, making a balanced schedule with out byes in a 14 team league is a lot more difficult then you would think... One thing I know for sure... the convenor spent A LOT of time trying to make a fair schedule... and also went out of his way not to make it favour his team particularly... (look at all the games each team plays before you decide whether it is fair or not, 'somone'). I'd also add that (whoever you are) I hope you'll be volunteering to help out on the executive next year... the folks there certainly do a lot of work for the opportunity to receive anonymous shots on the league webpage. Good luck in the tournament, everyone. |

I would like to thank the convenor for putting in so much hard work on the tournament schedule. I would also like to give extra credit to him for having to completely re-do the WHOLE thing the day before the tournament because one team couldn't make it. Being on the KDCSL executive is more work than most people understand; especially the league convenor. So, thanks again! |

Battersea can't make it. Your coaches have the new schedule in their email as of earlier this evening...
