took hike threw merrill mtn loop trail theres a lot of trees down were tryin to get up their this weekend to do some trail clearin is this ok with club and land owner please reply, joe |

Yeah, Joe and I will be slogging up Merrill Mountain way to clear trails this weekend before the snow gets too deep. I guess we'll keep clearing as there is more to do. Has anyone cleared out other areas yet and if so...where? Jim O'Hearn. |

Joe and I did some trail clearing on Robert's land on 12/02/07. Many trees down from spring storm. We'll be clearing some more this coming weekend I reckon. ~J. |

Cleaned up multiple trees with the Merrill Mountain Crew on Saturday.One monster remains though..Above the bridge on Roberts property.Otherwise the trails appear clear and ready for more snow..Clearing trees with snow packed on them is some of the hardest work I have done in a long time..Makes me want to thank the groomers for the work they do when they come across blowdowns on the local trails..Thanks again and Happy New Year to all.. |
