The image of a wooden bowl with a string fitted across the inside was given to me in a meditation in 1986. Since then I have developed this into a viable musical instrument which is now in use by healers across the world, including numerous NHS placements. Amazing results in some places have lead various registered music therapists to say tht they can no longer imagine working without one. the mystery is in the opening of the heart. How does a heart that has closed through not managing the pain of life open again on seeing/hearing/playing a simple stringed instrument? Why does a wooden bowl work where so many other musical instruments reach their limitations?
