thanks for reply as i said its been great following jim over the years.i know were jim came from and he worked his ass of to get to were he is now,all his old mates in glasgow have been tuned onto what hes been up to,and think its great..i stayed in the isle of man for a few years just before jim hit the scene on the island. got to meet some of the greats like hailwood, dunlop.grant ect,it would have been great to hear peter neil(race com) say his name over the tanoy and hear all the scots cheer him on,i used to batter round the course as fast as i could on a honda 900f,but was allways amazed to see how fast the riders were brave men.and to think that his name is on the tt trophy next all the others i used to look at as i worked in the palace lido on presentation night is great. jims done scotland proud.i hope jim doesnt retire just yet from the tt,ive never had the chance to watch him race in the tt,i hope this year i can get there to do just that.let him know all the lads in glasgow are keeping an eye on how hes doing esp me and ma wee boy my computer will be shut down for a while so i wont be able to acsess net for a while but will look in at the libery for your or jims reply so please pass message on to the wee man and wish him all the best from the lads shug.ps tell him to send ma wee boy his autograph it would make his day cheers.
