Hi Harvey. I am independantly raising funds for the TT RIDERS ASSOCIATION Charity. I went as a guest to there annual dinner at the Motor Cycle museum last Wednesday the 21st Nov where I presented a cheque to the Charity for nearly £1,100. I have raised this amount of money from selling signed 10" x 8" photographs of past and present TT riders. I do have the full support of the commitee of the Charity. The reason for the contact is that I have got some superb photos of Jim and I would ask that I could send them to him to get signed so that I can then Auction/Sell them and come next November present a larger cheque than I have done this year. If you have any doubts or reservations as to my intentions then I can supply you with letters from Francis Thorp the Charities secretary or you can telephone her and she will confirm what I have done for the charity over the last 12 months. I will of course supply letters from her if Jim does agree to sign the photographs for me. Many thanks in advance, Peter Dale. |
