It is a course you can purchase thru MUFON if you have a membership, I forgot the cost<sorry>, 25 dollars I think, it is an open book test, the manual is around 280 pages,lots of reading , some is interesting, some who knows what it is talking about, and it <test>, doesn't follow the correct path from page to page the questions jump back and forth and some are not in there, kind of search the net for meanings and getting close to the correct answer I guess you might say.I finished it but haven't sent it in yet, who knows if I passed until I send it in later this week.I believe some states teach it<course>, but down here in indians<southern>, they dont even have meetings<to bad>, anyhow anything else maybe I can answer itPOB |

The Field Investigator Manual is $28.50 and about 300 pages long. The exam is 100 questions. I am preparing to study it myself as soon as it arrives. |

POB and Rick --- with the heavy increase in sightings in southern IN since 01/08 I have to wonder why I'm not seeing any info. on these ??? I know some of the people involved have reported to Mufon but do not see any evidence. What's up guys ???ps. does anyone realize that southeast IN sits over a "carst" area of limestone caves ?? very intersting.......... |

I havent seen much anymore either in this part of the state, and it has been quiet.I passed the test and am a FI now also.The sightings seem to have dried up for a while.The county I am in by the way has many caves..over 100 plusPOB |

O'Malley, your guess is as good as mine my friend. Most of the sightings I have had reported are in central Indiana, approximately 80 miles north of Indianapolis. Most in the Kokomo area but some farther north. At this point, I have seen only one that had photographic and video evidence that has caused me to scratch my head and wonder. I am waiting on the final report from the FI involved as I am sure most MUFON members are also. |

I saw one Friday, the 16th of May in Tipton County. Get your cameras and go out to the country and you'll see them. |
