I had a sighting that lasted about 4 seconds on Thursday, 5/10/08 around 1:40 am near Elkhart. I was out having a cigarette in my driveway. Two lights appeared to swirl around each other at about 40 feet above the ground around 100 feet away. Scared the hell out of me. I had just lit up too. I put it out and went inside. Has anybody seen lights that resemble low flying dancing stars in the area? Thats the best way I can think to describe what I saw. Whatever they were, they were not crafts of any kind. To small, and to close. Please let me know if you have. I'm trying to convince myself that I wasn't seeing things. Because I have never seen anything like this before. Could be anything, maybe high flying embers from a distant fire or a childs toy of some type. If it were to be an unknown, likely was a drone of some type or a recon probe. Craft this small have been reported several times all over the world. Have you filed a report with mufon? |

I would like to correct my date. It was 4/10/08. For some silly reason I put a 5 instead of a 4. With regards to it being anything. That, it could have been. But that anything would have to be along the lines of something that I couldn't explain or identify. Whatever it was it was short lived and scared me pretty good. I won't attempt to assume it was anything more then what I described, because I frankly, just don't know. [This message has been edited on 04/16/2008] |

2004Long Description of Sighting ReportWe were driving home to Mt. Carmel,Il from Vincennes,In at around 8:46pm. I saw 7 lights --white,with a little blue heading east slowly at first. It was clear that night,a lot of stars out. There was one military jet coming from the north, and one jet coming from the south to intercept the lights. ****** The lights went in to circle, one light went to the right, and another went around the other,about a hundred time in seconds?? *******Then they went back into a circle. As the military jets got closer the lights took off in seven different directions very fast. The jets flew around for several more min.one jet came from Terre Haute, IN. The other look like it came from Evensville, IN. These happened in between Vincennes and Decker. It was me and my wife and two sons that saw it. (Awful grammar/spelling corrected some by me)That sound familiar? |
