At 10:27pm 04/16/08 saw 7 evenly-spaced lights stationary in a boomerang shape in the sky east of Purdue's campus. They were roughly 60 degrees off the horizon, and lower than most commercial aircraft. Watched the far-right light disappear, and a new one appear on the left leg of the boomerang; then a second light follow suit. Then all lights simply disappeared. In total saw them on ~ 5-10 seconds. They were all the yellow-white similar to a older car's headlights. No planes were seen or heard even being by the airport. Sky was completely clear, with stars and moon visible as well. Thought they were flares, but have never seen flares go out and new ones appear; plus there were no tails, and they didn't dim slowly enough to be a flare or a firework. Didn't move through the sky at all, so not a meteor either. Any other sightings tonight in the area? |

saw the same thing west of kokomo. sounded just as you described except to us it looked like just a flat bar of lights turning on then fading out. there was also a huge boom that shook the house. |

yes, I saw it last night too, same time, along with my 2 adult neighbors and my daughter. Heard the big booming explosion sound (at 10:26 p.m.) as I was in my driveway coming home from classes last night...followed less than a minute later or so by a row of orange lights going right to left, then followed by a second row of orange lights that lingered for a few minutes above out house on Sycamore street....(both rows or orange lights then were in the sky at the same time then)....strange thing was, my daughter noticed a long stream of white vaper in the sky that was going east and west, but the orange lights were going north and south...weird...then it got weirder as my daughter said that she saw what appeared to her as a big grey circular disc (or saucer like object...shaped like a frisbee she said) pop in and out of the sky for approximately 2 seconds ...she said it was right above our house (but I did not see it..my eyes were to the sky where the orange lights had been)...and pretty close to the orange series of lights ....my daughter was pretty upset and said that she had a bad feeling and went into the house and locked the doors and was pretty scared....I went inside as she was not going to let me hang around outside anymore and investigate further..... |

It is a little odd that there have been sightings in the Kokomo area for months of OBOLS (orange balls of light) and no military explanation was heard. NOW it gets interesting enough to be paid attention to by the media and citizens in general and "poof", there is an explanation. |

About 2:00 AM till about 6AM i watched on my roof in Kokomo wat appeared to be a FLEET of UFOS. Not once this morning did i look up in the sky and not see flashing lights.I captured a VERY good picture of disc like object with symbols on the bottom. These UFOS kept coming in and flipping upside down... almost like they were hiding. I saw over 50 UFO's this morning and i am now a TRUE believer. I also saw a Octagonal shaped object that was only about 1000 feet from the ground. I CLEARLY saw this ship and all of its components on the outside. I must admit i was very scared by the whole ordeal. If you want to see the picture and u reside in Kokomo give me a call. I dont really want to upload it to the internet yet i want someone from MUFON to exam it on my digital camera. 765-271-6190 |

Interesting for sure....which side of Kokomo did you see these objects?...could you elaborate more on the sighting and the object's appearance and the display of writing ? |

I saw almost every shaped UFO there is last night i swear to god. The skys were as active as ive ever seen them. The picture shows 3 disc UFO with a green symbol and the color of the discs are grey ill post the picture later tonight... i will probably have footage of more stuff tonight. I expect it to be a bit more crazy. I live at the intersection of Markland and washington... so almost in the middle. I had a perfect view. |

There have been over the past decade many sightings over on Markland and Phillips Street and Markland and Dixon in Kokomo too....all over by Haynes International...where the Kokomo Hum had supposedly originated....also, just found out not too long ago that on Dixon road off of the Crystal Springs subdivision that there are miles of underground roads....is this true?...does anyone else know of these underground roads?....read an experience that I had back in 1996 under Pinkgrasshopper on this message board website that occured on the corner of Markland and Phillips street in Kokomo.....you might find it interesting.... |

I witnessed the lights on several occasions in '03 '05. Some threads exist on this on Above top secret. Something big is going down and it is not meteors/flares/earthquake lights |

I am inquiring as to what type or brand of digital camera did you use for the pictures, my present camera is a digital but far from taking a quality picture at night.POB |
