Does any of the MUFON members have access to any reports of sightings from back in 1980 from southern Indiana? I have found that there was activity back then in that area (online) but no specifics. I'm thinking it might tie into my sighting back in Mar 1980 in Lancaster PA (never reported) Thanks, Jeff |

Just to let you know . . a Black Triangle is a very large and awesome sight to see 10' above the trees and 35' above your house . . you'd be amazed at the details you can see. Jeff (aka, jwbogus) |

Wow, I can't say for sure that what my mom, my brother and I witnessed was in 1980. I will say that it was 79,80, or 1981. We havn't been able to pin down the exact year duo to the length of time. But anyway what we saw that night was also black, triangle in shape hovering over the tree line with absolutely no sound at all. It actually hovered there for a few minutes. But this sighting was on the northwestside of Indianapolis and not southern Indiana. |

Hmm 1980 is kinda early for black triangles seems most I've read about them had them appearing more toward the end of 90s. Seeing one then lessens the chance they are gov/military |

Well I'm an eye witness to a Black Triangle and it was definately mi Mawch 1980 (FACT) over Centerville PA, I have as I said located a few months ago some Southern Ind. sightings in the 1980's but not much online of details, but I'm here to tell you, they may been more frequant in the 90's bit I def. saw one above my house as I said mid Mar. 1980 (I still remember every detail of that night like it was last week) |

1980/09 INDIANA, nr. MONROE CITY 0130 Source: Times-Herald, Washington, IN., Jan. 24, 1981 Five youth spotted a black triangle that made passes over them. One young woman felt an ash-like substance hit her face. She immediately covered her face with her hands. Later, she noticed burn-like blotches on her face and left arm. EFFECTS: Burns |
