I was out last night taking pictures of jupiter through my 14" scope. I noticed two bright white lights almost straight overhead traveling from north to south side by side. They were about a quarter the size of Jupiter and passing in the area of the sky where Vega was about 3:30 this morning. I assumed it was the ISS as I have viewed it many times, but it wasn't in our viewing area last night. I don't know how long they had been there because I was busy with the telescope. They only were visable for around 30 seconds or so and then faded out the way the space station does when you watch it, one first and then the other.Just wondering if anyone else seen them, or would know if any other satilites would be that bright and visable.

Hi Duyane, I did not see what you described, but on June 11th I was driving on the north end of Kokomo and saw this incredible big ball of white light shooting across and down from the sky. It was as big as the diameter of a streetlight. From my observation it was too low and close to be a meteror yet it flew like one crashing toward the earth. I had houses and trees obscuring my view but I thought for sure it would crash and we would hear it. Nothing came of it. Just another weird phenomenon in Kokomo.
