To continue the thread...
Yes, music is the only thing that keeps Cat sane. Well, that and writing. When I write I loose track of time and find it a chore to leave off my work until it is finished. I suppose I resemble Erik in that way.
But Cat loves music's powers to heal. Though I have been know to listen to heavy metal to soothe my anger and pain. But chants are good too. :)

Mhm, guess what... I think that after 2 years break I am able to write poetry again... I haven't done much after 1999, uh- but i hope I am able to pour my tears on the paper again :) heavy metal? This is like what? *looks at cat* well I am here more like goth/insutrial metal person. :O)

That reminds Cat, now that my poems are back in my paws, I think I'll put mor up. I'll have to change that intro though.
Don't ask me what made me say metal, but Powerman 5000, Mettalica, or Rob Zombie. Sometimes I'm so angry at the world, I need guitars to scream my pain. Don't worry, my poetry is better than my thread responses, promise. :)

Well no offence, but metallica is considered here as kiddy band and rammsteiners etc are not really into it, but kewl. I know what it means- to live emotions trough music- ah I am so strange- in one moment listen rammstein, in other listen Enya or typical euro-trance ;) But it is music and it has its healing powers :)

Cat got the pics today, so I'm revamping the site. Some details are a little fuzzy, but that is because you can put pixel listings in points like, 8.9 or something.

The brainiac who developed digital photo sizes here used both even and odd numbers. So until I figure a better way to do it, the present one's will have to do. At least they are cropped tighter.

Cat loves photos. Too bad I didn't have my camera when the snow storm hit. It is so pretty outside. :)
Nightcat posted 12/14/02 4:46 AM
Speaking of photos, I may put my old ones up again underneath the bit about myself. But Cat shouldn't run at the yap about meow-self, so I'll limit those bits. Sound good?

I guess there shuld be little part of yourself too, of course noone is not interested of the fact, when you claim to be a cat... neh it makes you look silly, but as you choose. :)

At least I don't claim to be the Opera Ghost. I have originality. Besides, none of my readers want to hear about me, they want a fantasy. :)

Don't feeel bad. I've met at least five Opera Ghosts. I just find it strange that so many people claimed the title. But the point was, if you are pretending to be something you are not, how are you any less silly than me? I think it is cool you made up a guise to run the site, but not everyone thinks that way. To an outsider we would both be pretty silly. I'll risk my site's validity for a little fun. Besides, I don't have a doctorate nor am I an expert in the field, so who is going to listen to me anyhow? And it is werecat, not just a cat. I am human but transform under the full moon. Come on, you RPG, you should know this stuff. :)

5? nice for you- I have met some in chat FdeLO and one german girl, but people like you do not get the basis why FdeLO and I wear our names, I dunno about those you have met, but the others I have met, are just some phans- who have seen the musical, find it being cool and find that playing Erik is cool. I d not start protecting my reasons here, yes I have been on stage, RPG in web, but do you know anyone besides Fdey and me, who are using that as alias also in reallife? Do you introduce yourself as Nightcat in the new company? do you meaw? No, no... I am not atacking, just saying my side of the things.Do find outsiders me silly? It is their problem, as it is my artist/stage and whatsover name as FdeLO is FdeLO, I am O.G. I do not judge people you have met, I do not know them, they do not know me. And yu know a saying: Do not ever judge one by his name, but his actions. Ok, I shut up as I have things to do and is playing cat and human really the same thing?

Yes, any roleplaying is fiction and can therefore be a bit unhealthy if carried too far. The name is there so forum people know me, and to protect myself. I've met a lot of fruitcakes in various groups I've been in, and I don't need any of them knowing any more than they need too. Second, this site is not being run to make finacal gain, so there is no reason to change the name.As for taking a characters name, oh yes, I've met plenty of people who do that. They even drag it into real life, for some odd reason. I don't really care for it as they are living of of somebody else's work in the sense that the name will evoke certain images in people's mind. The real gone ones start to thinnk they are the fictional people they play. I've never wanted to be anything I've played, I like my own self very much, thank you. But I certainly respect people's rights to do as they wish. If you and Fdelo wish to be opera ghosts, no skin off my nose. Nobody will get to know the real you, but as you think so little of other people's creative ideas, I don't see how you'd care. But you have to stop using that condescending tone. You are not any better than anyone else because you chose Erik's name you know. If you are so good, then by all means stop coming. Far be it from me to waste your time, O Bard. Besides, I find boastfullness very tedious inded. But at least you've got Erik's grandiose, meglomaniacal attitude just right.
Opera Ghost [In nomine dei nostri Satanas Luciferi excelsi...] posted 12/16/02 3:06 AM
MWAahahahahah! yes, yes- FdeLO and I run around the Palais Garnier mirrors in our hands that we can look in there all the time and enjoy our egos and wonderful looks. How could you think otherwise? Of course we (FdeY and I) are so gogeous, we juist love our looks, we always cumb our hair every 2-3rd minute, we wear only designed clothes and we believe that we are Eriks, well we havent yet managed to solve the mystery about how there's too of us, but one reason might be that ego didnt fit in one person. Uh... how rude of you not to know this basic fact of me... and FdeLO. :P

ROFL! Please, no more, I beg of you. hehehe. Oh, my face hurts. I haven't laughed this much in years. You devil! Hehehe. Oh, you are one funny man. I have tears in my eyes from laughing this much. Thanks for the lift. :)

I guess you could if you laughed hard enough. Speaking of laughter, Cat submitted this site for an award.
Opera Ghost [In nomine dei nostri Satanas Luciferi excelsi...] posted 12/18/02 3:23 AM
No, why should I laugh? Mhm, what award? You may laugh over me too as I did again set one of my aditional sites to get some award, (the same contest, that I got best critics award in spring- they have contests twice in the year :))

Well, I submitted to Phantom as she has started giving awards. I've seen that most sites don't last over five years, so I might as well get some kudos while I'm here. Speaking of which, why did they start tearing down the Phantom Nexus?
Opera Ghost [In nomine dei nostri Satanas Luciferi excelsi...] posted 12/18/02 1:35 PM
I have no idea- as long as I have been around- it has never worked properly and note that I didnt care much about web then- to be honest- I did not have proper access to web, not mentioning the fact that I got my PC this June and web this October. Mhm, my site has been here now bit over the year, well I see it as one site as it has had same name all along- ...or did it. 1st HTML tag i did copy-paste to my site April 2000- oh feck-eth how time flies... I thought it was 2001. In a way my site has been aroun since 2000, but it was simple. most tags were copy pasted from some tutorial sites etc. Its current structure it got august 2001, when I got the server room, now in June 2002 it got new look as got my PC at home, and in August 2002 it got the look it has now. Nothing fancy here? and those 2 awards I have came to me surprisingly...

Nightcat posted 12/18/02 7:03 PM
You didn't have to submit your site for those awards? Well, I'll honestly be surprised if I win anything since some established site owners (not you or Phantom) seem to have a chip on their shoulder. They don't realize that there would be no one to go to their sites if it wasn't for newcomers.
Opera Ghost [In nomine dei nostri Satanas Luciferi excelsi...] posted 12/19/02 4:18 AM
Yes, I didnt submit for those awards, but I am still very proud over them as I believe they are given by heart. I do not know about the site owners as I spoken with many in AIM/MSN/YAHOO or in various groups and they are kewl people- scary but kewl. But do you mean some particular?

Nightcat posted 12/19/02 5:22 AM
Well, I've had some site owners tell me they don't want bothered or have time, that says unfriendly to me. Sure, I undrestand people get busy, I get overloaded myself. Maybe I am just a sap. I tend to take out time to help other people. But I've seen where your awards come from, and you can rest assured I won't be recieving one. What can I say, I rub some people the wrong way, I guess.
O.G. [at uni] posted 12/19/02 10:08 AM
WEll, well... how can you say that you dun get the awards that i did- both are nice people and very friendly ;) But one is given for touching poetry and the poetry site (I had completely dif. poetry site in other server). other award is for the site and... and the friendship... or what did she say: about everything.
Nightcat posted 12/19/02 6:52 PM
That reminds me, I have to get more of my poetry up. I'm going to try and pick some good ones. Of course, I don't want that part of the site too big, so I'll limit myself to six poems.

Oh, an update on site photos. The developer I use no longer sells the cheaper floppies, and insists on more expensive CD formats.

I have seven photos now that need either scanned or put to disk. I'm not sure, but I might buy a scanner to do my own photos in the future. So, photos are coming, I'm just not sure when.

It is nice to see you young kids into religion these days. But Latin? My if you even flub one tiny sylable, oh the horrors that await you. But you know that right?

Now now lurkers, don't blame me for the satanic influx. I haven't tried to raise the Devil in years, hah! It never works either except in grade Z horror films. Pity. Imagine all the worldy goods we could amass. :)
