I know that much of the underground sequences were shot in the erstwhile Manod Quarry in north wales - which has since been largely destroyed as part of mining operations for slate. Does anybody know if all the underground stuff was filmed there? The tunnels leading around the Millwr Tunnel in north wales also seem like a possibility. www.subbrit.org.uk has some intresting stuff on both sites (I'm a member of SubBrit) |
