Hey girls! I know I haven't been around much this semester, but I still want to be involved and so do other LOA's and Alums. We would REALLY appreciate an invitation to events, or even just an email to let us know what's going on. We love OPA just as much as we did when we were actives, and we want to come to things. But we can't come to projects, sisterhood, etc. if we don't know about it or when they're planned. The website is great, but a lot of us didn't know it was up to date, including myself. So, please try to keep us in mind. Every semester we set one of our goals as better alumi relations, I hope next semester can we reach that goal. I hope everyone is having a great semester, and I look forward to seeing everyone at formal and Relay for Life. love, Ashley R. |

Hey girls! I am too an alum and feel what Ashley is saying. I love OPA just as much as when I was active. It's hard for me to make time to come to things, but I would love to hear what's going on and try to work a few events into my busy schedule. I have to agree with Ashley on this one. It was brought to my attention last night at the meeting that the Alums were not sent invitations to Formal. Now, I knew about formal, simply because I am still in school and can still come to some meetings, but what about those who have graduated and would have liked to come? This concerns me because what is going to happen once I do graduate? Are my sisters ever going to inform me of what is going on in my own sorority? I think this is something that we really need to work on. |

I am an "older" alum and I did recieve an invite to formal. The only problem was that I didnt recieve it until AFTER the fact. IMHO alum relations/information was never our chapters strong point. Hopefully one day that will change :D OPA Love and my own Bekah |
