Hi all, I just wanted to let you all know that I am emigrating to Canada on 1st November this year! There will be a leaving party at some point and I'll email Duncan to let him know the details so he can pass it on to all that know me! Becca (used to be Allan, now Munro!). |

More importantly Becca, let us know the details of the party as soon as, so we can get a big turn out. I'll get Mr Pugh and Carrick down your way as well. I'll be organising it within the next week and it'll be in mid-October. I'm off to Mississauga near Toronto - can't wait!! Cheap skiing holidays with the added benefits of home cooking for you all! |

Don’t get too excited about the cheap skiing. The skiing on the east coast, and indeed the majority of Canada is on man made hills since the landscape is so flat. The only semi decent skiing is on the west coast in the Rockies. And having skid at Banff, Lake Louise, Whistler etc, I can assure you that it’s very limited and very tame compared to the Alps. |
