RIO DE JANEIRO, July 14th - In an exciting competition, decided in the last centimeters, American Chloe Sutton picked up the gold medal in the marathon swimming, which took place at the Arena Posto 6. Brazilian Poliana Okimoto won the silver medal and the Canadian Tanya Hunks won the bronze medal. In the Men’s competition, American Fran Croppen was the winner, surpassing the favorite athlete from the United States Charles Peterson, who was the runner-up followed. Brazilian Allan do Carmo won the bronze.
