I'm an RCA and have just become a member of the NRLCA. I have received a membership card and some goodies about dental benefits. I was hoping to receive a contract or something that explains my rights, duties, postal policies, etc. Does anyone know how to get anything like this?

Good luck getting anything from the NRLCA, you just wasted your money and can't get out for a year. Visit the NRLCA site and you can order a CD of the contract for $10, but thats a waste of money also because nobody follows the contract anyways. Get out while you can

There is a change going on at our post office that has alot of workers upset. I have been there 2 1/2 years as a sub. All of the subs were instructed by our supervisors and postmaster that your time started in the office you work will count as your senority time for getting work hours in the office as a sub, TRC or RCA. We all understand that RCA will have first bid rights for a regular route no matter how long a TRC was there. That is not the issue. They tried to change it before and were unsuccessful, the postmaster and supervisor of the carriers instructed us once again that the subs with the most seniority will get hours to work first. Now our assistant state steward is saying we start with RCA only and that when we actually started in the office does not count.
