Nice to see Smash play live again. The band sounded relaxed, confident and energetic, playing a different set list, incorporating some of the older tunes with six from the new album to an enthuisiastic crowd. There was also a surprising funky 'Into You' which sounded great and it was nice to hear a live version of 'One In The Chamber'. Sorry to lose killer songs like Barrabas and Another Love from the set but something had to make way for the strong newer songs. This is the set list (maybe not quite in the correct order) from what I can remember: Scratch Until You Bleed, LLYC, Reflections Of You, Drugs Again, Shame, Morphine For The Pain, Into You, One In The Chamber, Cried At The Time, Icon, All By Myself, It's Got Me Heavy, Real Surreal. Encores: Revisited #3, Kill Somebody, What Goes On. |
