Excellent gig by SMASH on friday night at the Cellar Bar,Cambrige.A mixture of mainly new songs to launch their new album but also a few old classics as well. I've prevously seen SMASH twice in my home town of Sheffield in 94 (The Leadmill & Radford Suit St Phillips WMC.) and nothing has changed they are still playing well and writing great tunes. (only noticable difference is Salv's diet!) Me and my friend travelled south fri morning & got to Cambridge about 3 oclock. Smash came on around 10.45 so by then we where well squiffy(If you saw a fatish bold bloke at the front goggled eyed that was me. Anyway Im looking forward to the new album release and hopefully many more gigs. * |
