St Andrew's Society of Central Illinois Dear President,Secretary and members I hope you do not mind my contacting you this way: MARCHING IN SCOTLAND, DANCING IN NEW YORK – by Margaret Dunlop This is to let you know that the above book is now also available from Amazon.com in addition to the bookshops and other outlets referred to in an earlier message that was sent to you some weeks ago (by a different route). I regard this entry as a tribute to the book because I have been told that books published in the UK are often absent from that site. This is a book which holds special appeal for those with connections to or interests in Scotland. It is an enjoyable and compelling read. The book is true to life and the historical events of the 1920’s and 30’s both in Scotland and in New York – the venue where many Scots and others from the UK sought a new life.
