Author	Topic:   Euphonium to Alto Horn?
Rob	posted 4/3/12 2:56 PM     I am considering trying out an Alto (or Tenor) Horn. Currently, I am playing Euphonium. Before purchasing an actual Alto Horn, I plan to try out a mouthpiece from mouthpieceexpress.com. My current Mouthpiece is a Jupiter 5GB. All in all, I need advice in terms of Horn choice (less than $1000), mouthpiece (currently considering Bach A3373 but I would like more information), and overall adjustment to the Alto Horn (I read Treble and Bass Clef already). Also, this is not going to be a full time change, I plan to use the Alto Horn to complement my Euphonium.
Greg	posted 7/26/12 5:53 PM       I go with a Bach 3 or a Schilke 38D for switching back and forth between euphonium and alto horn, although saying that, that's what works best for ME. The Bach is your cheapest/best bet, I think.
