Channel 5 tonight 9pm. Larger than life is a programme about relationships with big ladies. It should be interesting. |

Victory for Cuddly Power! Did anyone else see the big beauties roughing up a mouthy yob on some TV footage the other night ("Street Wars", on Sky 3)? I'm not recommending violence, but it was a lovely piece of poetic justice, albeit in New Zealand, rather than the UK. The scenario: Beautiful large lady arriving in town on a night out, is verbally abused by a tall thin youth. She confronted him, and then was backed up by another cuddly friend. It turns into a one-sided fight as the obnoxious youth is roughed up - then flattened when a 3rd cuddly lady got stuck in. Filmed by community wardens, the ladies were left to get on with it until police arrived. Only the youth was prosecuted. Notably, both the authorities there in Auckland, and the British TV coverage, treated the ladies with more respect than we normally see on TV.
