I travelled on the SWTPO during the years 1967 until 1973 I was a little disappointed that it was not mentioned The swtpo had a long history that started as a day TPO which terminated at Dorchester I believe this was back in the 1930's It was lately extended to Weymouth It consisted of two sorting coaches and a stowage break What a wonderful experience it was for me as a young A/PHG at 19 It would be nice to see her up in lights along with the other TPO's Best Wishes David Palmer |
