My Grandmothere was born in Brown City in 1870----I am wondering if there are any local records I could check to get her parents names? With gratitude for any help.

Have you tried the court house in Sandusky? Since this is the county's seat. I doubt city hall in Brown City holds those kinds of records. Maybe one of the local churchs may have it recorded in their books. Do you know which church your grandmother's family may have belonged to?
