If you arent familiar its the new drug campaign by are great government that offers $1,000 for anyone who can turn in and bust dealers with 1/2 kilo or 1.5pounds of cocaine,crack, or meth .... I wrote this back to the Asheville Citizen times after a article that the CAMPAIGNE IS NOT WORKING!!!!well really???? are these people really making the decisions????why aren't you doing coverage with citizens of asheville about the dealer down program. The police may have had a lot of drug arrests this year but, they don't understand the risks people have to take to tell on someone especially with the weight they are asking to provide. If they would stop charging kids that were just caught up in the limelight of to much TV and the label societys pushing which that it is cool to sell and do drugs maybe they could get somewhere. The prisons are packed as is and drug dealers get longer years then murderers and rapists just on what people say, come on, really? What has happened to our government and most of all Asheville. When a mojority of the council pushing this dealer down idea are corrupt themselves and its time for it to be exposed. The people of Asheville are sick and tired of the police being so focused on drugs here and prosecuting kids who dont know any better because its cool to them, we need to be teaching them better, not bribing them to narc and giving them options where then they are at risk of dying and sorry to say but no city government can offer protection from that. Its not worth all the lives that are getting thrown away wether in jail or dead to get to the next, its just starting more anger and trouble. Harrassment and threats are forcefully made as well. They offer to help but as soon as you ask for it in writing they tell you no if they wanted things to get taken care of it would be done. Making drugs the main controversy right now is taking are eye off of are DA Ron Moore and his investigator Abshire and others. Whom are already under investigation for scandals and corruption. Even the APD officers have said some very interesting things. Its time to start asking questions and looking into this. Anyone inerested in helping clean this town up needs to speak and come together . I do this for a living I am from NY and I fight for are youth and the people. I have been getting lots of info here and getting in the way- now they are trying to get rid of me by charging me with Drug charges when I wasnt living here, people that worked for me and my manager apparently had some drug affiliations and I have been causing a commotion with getting involved in the city, the people, the kids, and government in Asheville. I have seen a lot and problems have stopped more by us than the police by working with these individuals and giving them options and letting them see real life and what there doing to themselves and others. then I started getting tips about where a lot of the fundage and drugs are coming from. As soon as I started digging deeper my manager is in town who was apparently involved with some old friends that I tried to help them stop using and selling. It then got turned on me by local officials with no evidence except what they heard. The police did some pretty illegal actions after that in which I am about to expose to whomever is ready to follow through and not be scared of Ron Moore I have had lawyers even turn me down after they have talked to him .... they then proceeded to keep harrasing me threatening me my family and telling other people that had been arrested I was a narc. In which I had a gun pulled on me and some people tried to jump me coming out of a business meeting whom I have never seen and hit me. A friend of mine was beaten they broke his nose, glasses and kicked in the car, but how can we file reports if we dont know who they are and they are already after me it was in the open street where cops are always but not right then . This is ridiculous they have also took a lot of currency when I own 2 ligitimate businesses and did not file it. Every time I go to make a move now they are there, pulling me over for no reason, then arresting me for nothing telling the bail bonds businesses in town not to bail me out whom will speak up; and not letting me call out to get out of jail. the last statement made to me when I was getting handcuffed is "I'm going to make sure you go to jail and stay there" by a huge official not named yet and its on tape and my lawyer at the time was present. I have always been a good woman and yes I may see and know more than I should but its been working already in NY and NJ. Our programs are working dropping crime rates %40 in some cities. Its my choice to run in the rugged streets to help America wake up, but now I get set up and am going to go to jail for it?
