I am comming to Asheville with a couple friends. We will have a Van and camping gear. as an altruist Gypsy, I am willing to barter my services: Cleaning, animal care, Painting, agricultural getting my hands dirty work, child care, spirit readings, peotry and song, and much more... for Smiles, hugs, food, showers, places to park my van and/or my tents, and tips about where to go for certain experiences. My truth is, I desire to find work that uplifts people, animals and the environment in peaceful and Vital ways. I am an excellent Horseman and excell at everything I partake in. Oh and Im a farmer at heart, yeah a gypsyfarmer hehe starchildlovesyou@yahoo.com |

I live about 20 miles north of Asheville (Mars Hill)- straight freeway 'til the last mile. Room for van or tent on flat gravel. Other land slopes. However, house is being remodeled but it has plenty of floor space and heat. How many people are ya talking, RayRay? And how long? Only one rule you might feel is silly but it is my very firm prerogative-Absolutely NO DRUGS except the Rx kind. I fought the Law and the Law almost won on that one. I won't risk my home on that again. You wouldn't believe the attitudes of the Law here on that one! Phone: (828) 689-2755 Dia |

Hi,Y'all, I'm a moderator on the Asheville/Freecyclers site: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Asheville-Freecyclers/ Everything on our site is an actual tangible item and is offerred for free only. Our purpose is to keep useful items out of the landfills. Items have ranged from kids' toys to appliances and even a couple cars. Subject lines start with "Offer"; "Wanted"; "Taken";(followed by type of item); or "Admin" (the last is directed to the moderator on duty"). Y'all come. Dia |

Hello! I, too, would like to find a barter/exchange situation if possible in the Asheville area. I'm planning on relocating to Asheville ASAP and have got a lot of services that I can offer in exchange for my own private living quarters or reduced rent. I'm very adept in the office and am a writer, organiser, proofreader/editor, artist, musician, counsellor, psychic, Reiki practitioner ... and I've also managed B&Bs in past. I'm not fit for physical labour, but more creative and managerial endeavours. Also, I do not drive at all, so I need to be in a pedestrian-friendly environment or a situation where I can live/work in the same space. If anyone can offer any leads or suggestions, I'd sincerely appreciate it. I am a non-smoking vegetarian lady from the UK. Thank you so kindly! http://www.alchemymusic.org Music, Media, Arts, Production |
