I think that eBay has grown too fast, has gotten VERY rich too fast, and they have lost their morals. Their priorities are wrong - they care more about silly ways to raise the fees, but give very poor customer services by not taking suggestions seriously, returning messages, partaking in important meetings to improve their service, and giving them what they really want - respect. The customers don't want guns, dead animal parts, drugs and porn readily available, let alone for their children to see and buy.ebay has become greedy and want everyone else to do their work for them FOR FREE. They could easily remedy these problems but figure if we are upset enough about the items, we'll take all the time to see that it is brought to their attention and possibly removed. The problem with this is that there isn't enough motivation to do this full time (which is what it would take), so 100's of illegal and offensive items go to eBay EVERY DAY!eBay should hire someone full time to do just the job of seeking out these items and removing them. They don't want to do it this way because they might remove something that will slip through or no one will see to have removed, and that way they don't have to lose their FEEEEEE. (No wonder their nickname is FEEBay!)Better yet, they should program their computer system to catch these items BEFORE they go to auction with prime key words! What, they can't afford to do this??????????????????????????????They just don't want to fork over any of their billions or lose any more fees. Do they EVEN reward all of the people DOING THEIR WORK with at LEAST not having to pay PalPal or eBay fees?? NOOOOOOOOOOOOO. http://www.ProtectRWildlife.org Protect R Wildlife |

eBay stinks! I'm going to tell everyone about how low they have stooped! Gee, I think I'll try to sell skunk scent glands on their auction - or better yet, mail them to eBay Headquarters! http://www.StinkyBusiness.org S.K.U.N.K.S. Scentral |

There are many books making fun of eBay. I think I'll write one too, especially about the topics on your new web site. This is no laughing matter. There is a BIG difference between them allowing a half-eaten grilled cheese sandwich with Virgin Mary image on it for a fortune. (Think of the fee eBay made on THAT!) BUT such illegal and offensive items as you have shown, this is a whole different matter. I am going to send this to all of my animal-loving friends and all over the Internet! http://www.ScratchnSniffPublishing.org Scratch 'n Sniff Publishing |

Ebay COULD be a wonderful place to shop. In my opinion - they need to make sure items sold on ebay are nothing more than you can buy at the local Walmart or the sweet little lady next door's yard sale. Ebay makes it too easy for people to make money legal or not. If they don't have enough man power to monitor these auctions - HIRE MORE PEOPLE!! There's nothing worse than looking for some wild animal trinket for a gift and finding animals killed for sale, furs, taxidermy, body part.....it's sick and must be corrected! http://www.keeperofthewild.org Wildlife Rehabilitation |

EBAY has certainly made enough money to hire the needed people to police their web site. Instead a group of volunteers HAVE to do it for them. I think for every violation they have on their own TOS they should have to donate the proceeds of that days auctions to animal rights groups. I was a huge fan of ebay until finding out how low down dirty they are. As long as they make a buck they could care less what has to suffer for it. |

I have been on ebay since they started. Wow, the things people sell or try to sell. I don't think I would waste my fees on such junk. Like someone trying to sell a name for a squirrel... come on.. I even found bottle water suppost to be holy water. Well we have one of those healing water holes too, but you don't see me selling it.lol |

The more I find out about eBay the more I lothe it. I used to check it daily & shop regularly, NO MORE! Some of the things I have seen on there are not only disgusting but ILLEGAL and eBay allows it! I was horrified! When I contacted eBay about it, you guessed it, I got a form letter reply & NOTHING was ever done! Well eBay, I AM DONE! |

I shop ebay for quite a few things but no more. I had no idea they'd allow such horrible items to be posted on their site for sale. They're just as guilty and the sick people who are selling. GOODBYE EBAY! |

I don't understand how eBay can continously allow illegal items be posted/auctioned & not be shut down. You would think with all the warnings, if there have been any, that they would hire someone or some company to "patrol"/protect their business, it makes no sense. |

Hi all, just thought Id post my option.I have been with ebay since the get go. And yes it went from 500 auctions up to millions now. Can't even sell on it anymore with out having a unique item of such and hope someone even looks at it.lol They are getting clumbsy. not checking on buy bidders and illegal items. They need to hire us for that, we could get a lot done. |

I think ebay has no respect for animals nor the laws to protect animals. They are also stingy with their billions of dollars they make every year and won't pay anyone to improve their pitiful computer program to solve these problems. Ebay has gotten cheesy and low class with their sales like Virgin Mary cheese sandwiches, belly button lint and such. But they have gone too far when they allow animal abusers and killers to sell their wares on their forum. If it weren't for conscientious people like US, these items would stay on Ebay's auction until sold and then the jerks would just go out and kill and kill again (as one of the sellers said under Correspondence on this great web site). |
