Just a note -- I read this book last year and it was very good. Another good book that deals more with the reign television has over our lives is "Fixing our Eyes" by Kevin Lee. Warning: We canceled our satellite after reading this book!

Angie,Thanks for the book recommendation. We haven’t had satellite television for quite awhile, however videos are still a *problem*We just boxed-up quite a few videos in attempts to eliminate the temptation ~ lolHonestly, if it were completely up-to me ...We wouldn’t even have a television in the house !Lisa
