I am preparing for tutoring and I am quite confused with the Timeline cards. I was trying to put them in order but they do not match. I don't have the correct "blue stripe" cards by number or topic. Is anyone else having this problem? What am I doing wrong? I've looked, checked numbers on every color card, stripe and everywhere.....Thsnkd in sdvsnce for any help. |

KW: It would be good to check against the CC catalog or www.VeritasPress.com to determine which set you have. There are two series of cards...history and Bible. Each of these series have 5 sets of cards. Can you give some more infomation about the cards that you have? What color are the tops and what are the beginning & ending numbers? You might have only a partial series set or have the Bible cards. |

I have all 5 sets that are posted as needed in the Classical Conversations Catalog for the Foundations Cycle 2 program. I have the correct color coding and stripes but some are missing when I try to re-sort them in the correct order for CC. I'm told that CC re-packages the cards. I did not buy my cards from CC. I had some from previous years and bought the others from another homeschooler. All the correct cards are there from the Verotas sets but I'm now thinking that I may need to buy other sets. After speaking with the Moms in my class, I found that most of them are in the same situation. They did not get their cards from CC so they may have the same issue. The main question now would be "What other sets will I need to purchase to complete my set for CC?" |

I also did not buy my cards from CC, but purchased used cards from other homeschoolers who were done with them. I had no trouble matching up the cards to the order listed in CC. A few are out of order--there are some greens before the blues are finished, etc. The only card I have that is very different from the most recent VP cards is the modern history (but of course modern history is changing every day...). My cards did not have anything about Sept. 11, but the more recent ones did. If you would like, I have a file of the names of the cards in order that I could send you. I did it so my kids could check the order of the cards. It may help. Please email me privately if you want the list. hakunamatita@juno.com |

Thanks Martita. I sent you an e-mail. Did you only buy the 5 sets in the Foundations Catalog and was it for Cycle 2? Just trying to be sure of where I went wrong and I still haven't figured it out. Thanks for your help. |
