We are a family of four from Oakland,CA (boys, 8 and 10). We are buying a boat on the east coast and will be starting a one year cruise from New England in June '04. Our itinerary is to return to Oakland through the Caribbean and Panama canal by June '05. Homeschooling is something we're trying to figure out now so all help is welcome. I am 11 years old. I live on Wandering Puffin with Mom, Dad, my crazy brother and my cat, Sweetie Pie. (My brother has a cat named Boots.)I want to meet a lot of new friends as we travel aroound the world. We will be in Mexico for several months. |

We're a family of four with Jackson (11) and Naomi (8) on board. We are currently in Mexico but planning on heading to the South Pacific next spring.I'm also interested in other people's experience with home schooling -- what works for you, what doesn't, what new things you're considering. |

Happy Holidays Chewbacca! Hopefully you remember us from cruising in Mexico in 2000. We are now living in Hemet, CA. Kaelani is in 8th grade and very busy with drill,golf & swim teams. She loves it here and is doing really well in school. We have fond memories of your family & enjoy reading your articles in Latitude 38; the girls look great in the December issue photo. We're cruising with our parents, Mary and Lou on a Passport 42 named Ace. We are currently in Barra de Navidad Mexico. We will be heading south and spend the summer in Central America and Ecuador.
