I am taking a 5-day raod trip vacation, starting on April 19th, that may be of interest to you, camping in my Coleman (popup) camper, 2 nights at Locust Lake State Park (04/19 & 04/20/2006) to see Centralia, PA (the real "Silent Hill"), the PA town that has been burning underground due to a huge mine fire, since 1962, and then going on to Carlisle, PA, camping at "Western Village Campground" for "Spring Carlisle," car parts swap and classic cars show (04/21 & 04/22/2006), and coming home on Sunday, 04/23/2006. I would rather not go alone, and none of my other family members ar able to take this trip. I realize it is after "Spring Break" is over, but if you are able to be out of classes, I think this trip might interest someone of a mind to ponder the environmental impact of the Centralia fire, and the fascination "Baby Boomer" era people have with restoring, driving, and holding onto the fossil-fuel-guzzling muscle cars of the Carlisle Car Coral. There is no obligation on the part of interested parties wanting to come along, or expectation from me, other than people having fun, going to observe the experience of Centralia, strolling among the crowd at Carlisle, hopefully enjoying nice campfires under starlit skies, and keeping your truly company. I would be happy to meet anyone for lunch between now and then, who might be interested in going. Please pass this information along and, if anyone, including you, is interested, please give me a call. I can easily accomodate 3 persons in addition to myself. If anyone is interested, my number is 221-5545, and if I am not there, my voicemail will pick up, so leave your name and number and I will get right back to you ASAP. I am easy to get along with, open minded, will stop whenever anyone needs/wants, and I(we) may enjoy some catch-and-release bass fishing while at Locaust Lake State Park as well. I look forward to hearing from you. I think this will be a fun trip, and quite the stress reliever.
