We can't control the past, nor could we choose to be born. The past dictates every thing we do, genetics, environment, and circumstances are all dictated by the events that preceded them. If this is the case then the choices we make are based off of what we do instinctively and what was instilled in us. Is there such thing as free will, or is it an illusion, our actions being already being dictated by the conditioning and circumstances of the past? |
