I just thought I would introduce myself as I have just come across this website. I have now decided to have a doggy friend for my 7 year old cross breed dog TJ and I think it would be great to have another 4 legged friend in he house. I think having a rescue dog is so rewarding and I have looked at different breeds, but I keep coming back to the English Setter. Although I have never met one (my friend did have a 'red' setter years ago) I just love their graceful and refined looks. After everything I have read about the breed, I also feel that an English Setter would suit my lifestyle. I am going to contact the rescue coordinator in the very near future but just popped on here to say hello and wondered if anyone has any words of advice for me?
