Job Details For: Location: Oak Ridge, TN (FED) Environmental Scientist - SCEV 1 Reference: cdm-00004834 Description: CDM has an immediate opening in their Oak Ridge, TN office for an entry level Environmental Scientist. Responsibilities include providing support to a variety of ongoing environmental remediation and environmental services tasks. Specific task assignments will include, but are not limited to, participating in site walk downs, evaluating environmental compliance status, reviewing and organizing data and records for input into regulatory and contract submittals, and researching databases and records repositories for historical information. Position requires B.S. in Environmental Science or related discipline. Applicant must have basic knowledge of the environmental regulatory programs or a science background that is directly applicable to environmental compliance and remediation work, excellent writing skills, computer proficiency, good oral communication skills and be a quick learner. Specific proficiency in WORD, EXCEL, and ACCESS required. Experience with state or federal agencies is a plus. Applicant must be eligible for DOE security clearance.
