Does anyone here live in a home that they believe is haunted? What paranormal experiences are you having? |

If ghosts are real, then my house is definitely haunted. I can hear footsteps lingering near our staircase every single night, when there's nobody there. The footsteps sometimes go up and down the steps, but usually start from my parents' room and stop at the very top of the stairs. I'm not the only one who's noticed it either.My brother has also heard the very same footsteps late at night. What's even weirder are some of my dreams that I've had in the past. In these dreams, I would always find myself flying up and down the staircase like it was no problem, and there was nothing more that I wanted to do but to jump from the second, down to the very first story without using the stairs at all. Another time, I was walking down the stairs one day, and I literally stopped, and started dreaming about jumping from the top, to the very bottom of the steps. I was about ready to jump, but suddenly woke up standing there. I don't know, it all sounds a bit weird and creepy when you put a lot of the evidence together. My mom and dad don't believe me at all, and my brother only believes that the footsteps are real, not the dreams. I don't know, anybody tell me what you think about it. |

You know,after I posted my stories onto the internet, I thought that everything had gotten better. I wasn't hearing any footsteps anymore, and thought that the whole haunting thing was settled, but I was wrong. Things have gotten even worse this month. The footsteps can be heard as early as ten, and they continue throughout different periods of the night. I even woke up in my bed last night to the sound of heavy breathing, and I'm meaning some really intense breathing right next to me. I don't know why, but for some reason I knew that the thing that was making that noise was just trying to annoy me. I tried not to think very much of it, but couldn't help but feel a little creeped out when I heard a faint chuckle. I've been hearing a lot of weird noises like this in my room lately. What do you guys think? |

That is strange. I got on here hoping to find someting pertaining to an eperience I had many years ago. I read about the "breathing" you described, and this is what i experienced. I walked into a room to get something, and I then heard very intense heavy breathing in the room. I stopped and listened for a bit because I could not believe what I was hearing. After listening for a while it not subsiding, i just ran. |

Yes, i am a physical median of the paranormal---in other words, i can see and communicate with spirits as i would with a living person. Spirits are attracted to me like a beacon, i will always live in a haunted house |

Hi Where do I start! I think I'm going crazy lately I'm only 14, but have been having some frightening experiences.In the past I have had things happen to me such as having dreams that come true.Deja vu happens all the time.But, lately I can be sitting doing my hair and see a shadow pass me and shout on my mum only moments later to realise she's out.Only very recently have I been too scared to sleep.I can sense that someone or thing is with me.I want to communicate,but am terrified.Are these "things" evil? what do they want from me? |

The house I grew up in as a child had a ghost. The typical wierd stuff would always happen to my family and myself. For instance, cold breezes for no reason, extreme temp. drops in certain areas of the house (even in the summer), feelings of being watched and stared at, items diappearing and reappearing, doors opening and closing, pictures turning around, pets going "insane" or dying mysterious deaths, our names were called and shouted at us, cabinets flew open and pots and pans crashed to the floor . . .and we all often experienced one thing in particular that creeped us out the most, when anyone would be in the shower there would be a sudden "blow" into the right ear as if an invisible entity were standing right beside you and just blew real hard into your ear! My mother was fortunate enough to be the only person in the house to see our guest. She says he was a tall man dressed in an old fashioned army uniform. I did some research a few years ago, and discovered that a civil war skirmish from the Battle of Westport in 1864 was fought on the property and many soliers died there. We also found an old graveyard that verifies this. It is located less than a half mile from our house and contains a mass grave of numerous unidentified soldiers of this same battle. Needless to say, I have ALWAYS believed in ghosts, and my interest in the paranormal began at a very young age! |

I was reading some of this stuff and there is 3 messages for 3 different people wich after receiving this message hope u can contact me so we can work it out a lil. I am a witch and i know a lil of this cases because where i come from we work with black and white magic and something similar is happenin in my house in the dominican republic i live on an appartment of 3 bedrooms and in one of the bedroom no one can sleep because in one of the corners appear a lil man about 3 feet tall and a big smile looking at who ever is in that room and pulling theyr toes. to daennyris about the dream in the staircase or stairs is called trance to jellybean that about the gost next to u all the time means that you are one of us and u need to get in contact with them and to miranda that ghost was the owner of the house and he or she didnt want you guys there he/she was filling molested |

hey everyone i just pposted a question, im very new to forums and stuff so go easy on me! but in response to Daennyris's post, when i was little, i had dreams about flying around my staircase and jumping clear down to the first floor too. really weird, and if anyones reading this PLEase reply to my questions because im really confused and more than just a little scared... :) laters! |

In response to Daennyris.I would have to say that the nature and consistancy of your dreams combined with the footsteps that you and another person heard while awake could mean that someone may wish you harm.The best advice that I could give you is that when you prepare to go to sleep keep in mind the dangers of jumping from the second floor of your house.Hopefully this logic will carry over while you are in a state of sleep. In response to IC.I totally agree with you.I do not believe in demons.I believe in good people,and bad people.As in life-as in death. |

Hi. Yes, I do believe that My house is haunted. By the spirit of a small boy. My mother first noticed him over 30 years ago. Since then we have learned to live with him. He tends to follow children. He likes to play with my children's toys first and now my granddaughter's. He is very mischievious. He likes to hide things, and make little sounds when there are people around. He has never hurt anyone or scared anyone. We have named him Casper (the friendly ghost). He is kinda part of our family, everyone has experienced his actions at one time or another. We do worry about why he is here instead of passing on. Don't know if we should get someone to help him or not. |

interesting stories everyone ... but there is one that i can't answer 2 ... when we sleep we could have spiritual contact? because i wake up with marcs on my face, hand and feet like someone scratched me , or my brother he waked up with a spot of blood on his arm an he wasn't enjured or he's node didn't bleed through the night... |

well i need advice on this subject i think i had a couple of incidents one was a month ago the back door to my house was open when i know i shut and locked it i asked every one in my house hold and they said they didn't do it and the other was a couple of hrs ago ok this is going to sound werid but i made a pot of coffe for me and my mother-in-law and we wound up not touching the pot and it was full to the brim and we left it and sat down and watched a movie she left and i whent out into the kitchen the spoon of the sugar was out of the container and 2 cups of coffe was missing from the pot my husband was out working and there was no one execpt me and her and we did not have any .; help need advice |

when i feel like my room is all cold and my sister feels some one is tapinbg on her sholder and my mom she opened her cretain at night then she woke up and the cretains were open that how i know |

okay so i dont know if my house is haunted or not but there are always creeks in what seem to be our attic but there havent been lately actually. Well my room is usually very warm even if i switch room i manage to keep my room warm. Lately my room has gotten colder and i feel as though there is something watching me. I get really scared and i've been getting sick lately but without real symptoms. I get "sick" but dont feel bad i dont know how to explain. It's very frightening. I dont want to accept that there is a possibility something is there..so maybe that's why i dont see anything? Are there any violent spirits? How do you deal with it? Is it possible not to see anything but know that there is something there? I also sense that it's laughing or giving a sinister smile..idk maybe it's just me? |
