Spirits come to me all the time. In my home, at work, at a friends, dreams ect ect.. I have had a couple that were not too nice. But for the most part they are 'people too'. HA They know that you are sensitive and they need someone like that in order to get through or communicate. When my neighbor died down the hall, I did not know. For a few days, my blinds were lifted when I got home, my water was being turned on.. Then I found out that she had died and at that point I 'knew' what the deal was. She knew I could pick up on her so she was trying to communicate with me. I did not tell her husband of my experience, he would of probably thought I was crazy. Good Luck. (* |

As in life, so in death. It is my belief that while alive if a person was cantankerous or threatening towards us so shall he/she be once having passed onto the spirit plane. However, while alive, the vast majority of people are just your average person with their ups and downs only trying to communicate and get along. Once they pass over they continue to behave in such a manner. Your average Joe so to say. Often times the fear or threat that people pick up is their own lack of understanding or their own misgivings about what spirit really is. If you expect the horror of TV and movies, your perspective of the situation will draw conclusions of that nature to any paranormal occurrence. If you have been taught ghosts are the devil by a religious organization, then fear and threat are tremendously high. An orb floating through the room will cause the knee-jerk reaction, "It's gonna get me." When the physical body is in the presence of spirit energy it reacts in various ways which can be misread as 'threatening'. That prickling or spine tingling fear is merely an indication of the presence of spirit energy. It's not an attack. The visual manifestations can be quite dramatic as well causing the senses to jolt with the natural fright and flight reaction. One must educate themselves on the true nature of paranormal activites...there is strength in knowledge. Of great importance is the psychological state of the investigator. He/she needs to be well versed in spirit presentation, balanced, alert, and of utmost import calm to collect accurate scientic data we are looking for. I believe newly transitioned spirits take time to learn how to use their energies and find ways to communicate with us. Therefore, something that is hurled across the room was only meant to be slide across the counter. Kind of like us when we get onto a boat and have to get our 'sea legs' and vice versus back on shore to get our "land legs.' |
