Hi my name is David, 27, Ohio. I have recently moved back in with my parents, temperarily. My whole family have had some sort of paranormal activity in this house. I've been doing alot of research about the paranormal, and im usually up pretty late at night alone. Since I've been back here I have only recieved little signs of activity. I get an overwhelming feeling of someone sort of trying to see how this will work, my moving back, a sort of curious feeling on the spirit side. We have always felt the presence of a child, and also a male figure, not an old man, but mabey middle aged. I don't know if anyone has heard of the "Old stone front" house in Ohio, but our backyard is conjoined with the backyard of the old house. Our ex-neighbors acutally dug up a couple of old tombstones while planting flowers.I was just a little boy when this occured, so I don't remember the dates nor does my my mom. She is more opened minded than my dad, so we share alot of stories and dreams we've had, that some how most of the time turn out accurate. Anyway as legend has it, a young boy was kidnapped on the day of his mothers funeral, and his remains were found sometime in the late 50's. I wish I had all night to tell all of the paranormal activities my family and I have witnessed. I recently sat up an old kareoke machine, w/ no track in the deck accept the tape I was recording on. I sat it all up in the room I slept in as a child, which is now a storage room. I sat up my mic. on an old twin bed I used to sleep on, and I made sure that the cord of the mic. had enough slack so that it wouldn't roll off the bed, or move in anyway. I was the only living person in the house I spoke after pressing play/record, for anyone to speak at their convienance. I turnoff every light in the whole upstairs. no cell phones in the entire upstairs. my girlfriend and I went out for a bite and left the 90..min. tape recording. up on returning. we watched alittle tv. and let our food settle. Anyhow, after playing back there was nothing for about ten mins.then heard some footsteps, fast footsteps, like a child. then a soft voice "now what" We couldn't tell if it was a little kid or a soft spoken woman. shortly after the voice we heard the sound as if someone pulled the mic. out of someone elses' hand and scrathing noises on the tip of the mic.(mind you,we have no pets) after awile we here some soft voises, but could not make them out, and a sound like maracas shaking in rythem. there is no reason for that sound to be in that room! theres' is just an old weight benck and some boxes just odd sounds....We are going to try again soon but in a different area in the house that has always gave us goosebumps and captured orbs. and vortecies in photos. i'll check back soon....Thanks David.
